I am a sustainability and ESG leader, main board director and chartered engineer with more than three decades’ experience in construction, environmental regulation and chemical manufacturing, alongside non-executive and advisory board seats. I bring independent challenge to boardroom, fluency in governance, risk and regulation, and record of developing cross-industry collaboration. As Chief Sustainability and Compliance Officer and a main board director at Willmott Dixon, a £1.4bn UK tier 1 contractor, I authored its sector-leading ‘Now or Never’ strategy, embedded statutory climate disclosure into the annual report and accounts, and built a £1.5bn pipeline of net zero and Passivhaus projects. Earlier in my career, I was an environmental regulator and a local authority director.
